Gidto Chrome Extension
Your entire Gidto workspace — right in your new tab. Save tabs instantly, manage projects, write notes, track tasks, and review media without ever leaving the browser.
Installation Guide
Follow these 6 steps — takes under 2 minutes.
Click "Download Extension (.zip)" below to save the latest build to your computer.
Extract the downloaded ZIP file to a folder on your computer (e.g. "gidto-extension" on your Desktop).
Open Chrome and navigate to chrome://extensions — or click the puzzle-piece menu → "Manage Extensions".
In the top-right corner of chrome://extensions, toggle on "Developer mode".
Click the "Load unpacked" button that appears in the top-left, then select the extracted folder from Step 2.
The Gidto extension is now installed! Open any new tab — it will launch your Gidto workspace automatically.
Chrome may show a banner saying "Disable Developer Mode extensions". You can safely dismiss it — this is normal for extensions loaded from a local folder rather than the Chrome Web Store. The extension is fully safe and open source.
